For as long as he can remember, the klutzy Tsuyoshi Yano has been prone to injury. Constantly showing up to school with fresh scrapes and bruises, he has long become accustomed to the pain and to the sight of his face covered in bandages. However, Yano's days begin to change for the better when he is transferred to a new class and meets Kiyoko Yoshida, the class president known for her reliability and kindheartedness. Through Yoshida's efforts to learn more about him, Yano starts to experience the kind of high school life he has always wished for—one filled with laughter and camaraderie. Between casual conversations and countless small accidents, the two gradually grow closer, and their relationship may bloom into something more than just friendship.

Yume Kikuchi, a girl who can use magic, goes to Tokyo to be an apprentice mage to the handsome Masami Oyamada (a professional mage). In Tokyo, Yume learns about magic, helping people, and various other things on her way to being a mage. But she soon also finds out that even just magic alone isn't enough to make someone truly happy...

Additional specials included in two Blu-ray Box volumes of Soul Eater. Originally they were a part of late-night version of dual broadcast of Soul Eater; the regular Monday 6:00 p.m. version and a late-night "Soul Eater Late Show" version. Special footage was added at the start and end of the commercial break; the next episode preview was also different from the regular version.
