I was really hyped for My Dress-Up Darling Season 2 after how fun and fresh the first season was. But honestly, this season just doesn’t hit the same. Here’s why I feel it’s losing the spark:

-No Relief or Romance Moments
Season 1 had those wholesome and exciting romantic moments between Gojo and Marin that gave the story heart. In Season 2, it feels like those sweet interactions are gone or barely there. It’s all too dry and serious.
-Too Much Focus on Fashion
instead of balancing cosplay with character growth and romance, the anime is almost entirely fashion-based now. rather than an actual love story with emotional payoff.

-Overuse of Side Themes
The show seems to be putting more focus on pushing certain cultural themes (like LGBTQ+ inclusivity)
-MC’s Growth is Stagnant
Gojo had such an interesting development arc early on, but now it feels like he’s stuck in the same place. There’s little emotional growth, and his interactions don’t feel moving anymore.
